Mrs Noura Ghazi
Senior international human rights lawyer, executive leader, trainer, and technical advisor with more than twenty years of experience advancing human rights, governance, rule of law, and transitional justice in conflict and post-conflict settings.
Founder and Director General of NoPhotoZone, leading multidisciplinary teams and cross-border programmes supporting victims and survivors of arbitrary detention, torture, enforced disappearance, conflict-related violations, and gender-based violence. Trusted advisor to governments, UN mechanisms, international organizations and civil society organizations. Extensive experience in executive training, Training of Trainers (ToT), leadership development, strategic advocacy, community organising, public speaking and institutional capacity building.
Since 2021, I am a fellow at the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy (TIMEP).
In 2022, I became a Marianne Inititiative Laureate as part of President Macron's initiative "to strengthen France’s action in support of human rights defenders."
In 2024, I joined the International Rehabilitation Council for Victims of Torture (IRCT) Advisory Board as representative of MENA region IRCT Website
In 2024, I co-founded Voix Des Prisonniers which advocates for detainees and their families.
