Helsinki España – Human Dimension is a non-governmental organization founded in 1992 in Spain. Its mission is to promote and protect human rights, democracy, and the rule of law, in accordance with the principles established by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), particularly the Helsinki Final Act.
The organization focuses on education, awareness, and training in human rights and international humanitarian law, especially targeting youth, university students, and professionals. It runs a variety of programs and projects both in Spain and internationally, aiming to foster a culture of peace, active citizenship, and global responsibility.
Helsinki España collaborates with national and international institutions, including the United Nations, the European Union, and various civil society organizations, to implement initiatives in areas such as conflict resolution, refugee support, gender equality, and peacebuilding.
