Overview

In 2003, under the auspices of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation and the OSCE, Helsinki España established the International University Centre of Peace Missions (IUCPM), aimed at training professionals with the competencies and skills required to work in peacebuilding and complex international contexts.

With over 30 years of experience, Helsinki España has trained thousands of young people and professionals from more than 70 countries, supported by its University Network, which gathers over 140 higher education institutions worldwide.

Our core values include diversity and inclusion, a comprehensive approach to human rights, strong alignment with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and a clear international vocation, both through its partnerships with global organizations and through the diversity of its participants and volunteers.
